On Monday, March 18, 2020, Mrs. Tabitha H. Taylor was sworn in as the interim Councilmember of the City of Shreveport City Council, representing District A.  Welcome aboard Councilwoman Taylor.

What ideas will Councilwoman Taylor bring to the table relative to the City’s current financial woes?  Will there be decisiveness in her presentation of ideas to address the shortfall of some $25M?

In addition, Councilwoman Taylor’s perspective on the “voluntary furlough”, what is it?  What about Councilwoman Taylor’s position if the Cross Bayou Project or the Bond Proposal comes back to the table, what will be her position?
Councilwoman Taylor’s voice will have much impact on issues germane to District A definitely.  Councilwoman Taylor will also lend her voice and her vote to issues that will affect the whole of the City of Shreveport.

Councilwoman Taylor will take her seat among her colleagues on Tuesday, May 27, 2020 at the Shreveport City Council meeting.  I will witness firsthand her contribution to the Shreveport City Council while representing District A.
Councilwoman Taylor now gets to show us all her leadership skills.  We will be watching!!
