John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

Oct 13 WHERE IS MAYORAL CANDIDATE LEVETTE FULLER'S CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORT?

The campaign finance reports for the period of Jan. 1 through Sept. 29. 2022 were due on Tues. of this week.

Candidates who have raised $5000 or more must file these reports.

Levette Fuller has yet to file a campaign finance report.

Does this mean she has not raised $5000 in campaign contributions?

Does that mean that she has failed to comply with the reporting requirements?

Either way she should advise the media and the public.

If she has not raised $5000, then she can not be considered to be a serious mayoral candidate.

If she has raised that amount and not timely filed, then that speaks to her ability to be mayor.

So, what's the deal?
