HOL-MAC HONORS CONTRACT AND DELIVERS NEW GARBAGE TRUCKS TO CITY OF SHREVEPORT

JOHN E. SETTLE JR

In April, Hol-Mac company advised the City of Shreveport that it would not honor its contract to deliver 18 badly needed trash compactor trucks without additional moneys amounting to almost $300 thousand.

The City Council wisely refused to increase the requested increase in costs for the trucks.

Informed sources report that Hol-Mac has decided to deliver the trucks rather than be sued.

Three new garbage trucks were recently delivered to the City.

Reportedly, Hol-Mac will deliver the remaining contracted 15 trucks in groups of 3 in the following weeks.
