LEVETTE FULLER--I REGRET YOU ARE NOT RUNNING FOR REELECTION

I am your constituent, a concerned citizen, and a journalist.

I did not know you before you qualified for the council in 2018.

Since then I have followed your actions closely as a council member.

I have not been silent in my comments and my writings about you.

I have discussed you often.

I have cussed you often.

I have criticized you often.

I have questioned you often.

I have praised you often.

I have always respected you as a person, and will continue to do so.

I have always respected you as an elected official.

I have never doubted your work ethic.

I have never doubted your integrity.

I have never questioned your political motivations.

I regret, personally and as a citizen of Shreveport, your decision to not seek elected office this year.

I know this has been a hard decision for you, and I will not question the same.

I know you will not sit down on the job until it ends.

Please keep pushing for good government for our city.

And my sincere thanks for what you have done to date.

I know you will work hard to the end of your term.

I am confident that you will continue to work for the betterment of our city after you are out of office.

Sincerely,

John Settle
