BE A PART OF DEMOCRACY AND HELP WITH CADDO ELECTIONS

As American citizens, we ALL have an obligation to go vote.

Geez, so many citizens in many countries worldwide do not have this privilege.

So much for the civics lecture.

So, lets assume you do vote in Caddo elections.

Be that for the U.S. president, U.S. Senate, state senators and representatives, Shreveport mayor, Shreveport council members, school board members, Caddo commissioners and other state and local elections.

You probably recognize one or more of the election workers when you go to vote.

You know their jobs---taking your name and making sure you are registered to vote, checking your ID, signing in to vote, and actually going into the voting booth to vote.

These people help you exercise your right to vote, ensure that people are properly registered at that precinct, and actually help you get into and out of the voting booth.

Simply put, without these workers we could not be able to vote.

Its always enjoy visiting with the election workers, whether or not I actually "know" them or not. I thank them for their work and often take them treats.

More Caddo Parish voters are needed to work at the polls on election day.

Think about checking this opportunity for employment.

Take a few minutes to review the website www. caddoclerk.com. There are some minimal qualifications and I am certain as a reader that you satisfy these.

And think about others who may want to work at elections. Your friends, family, and neighbors.
