She is the mystery lady to the general public.
When introduced to the Shreveport City Council on Tues. she said very little and even less was revealed as to her credentials for the job.
What is know is that council president James Green hand picked her. Whether she attends his church is unknown.
Also, she is a resident of interim councilman Alan Jackson's District E. He pointed out that information on the record, so one can assume he has some knowledge of her.
She graduated from the Southern University Law center in 2014.
Kendra then served as a clerk at the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in Shreveport.
She thereafter worked as a public defender for the 26th Judicial District in Benton and Minden.
In 2021 she joined Blanchard Walker law firm and she left that firm this year.
She is a member of the Shreveport Junior League and she was named the volunteer of the year in 2019.
She was a member of the 2022 Greater Shreveport Chamber Leadership Class.
Her profile on the Blanchard Walker website lists her professional experience as personal liability and general litigation.
It is not known if she has any municipal law experience that would be helpful as council clerk is an open question.
More importantly, whether or not Joseph is the most qualified candidate for the position is the big unknown.
