COMPLAINTS ABOUT SHREVEPORT CITY MARSHAL AT MLK PARADE

Several citizens have reached out to SETTLETALK with complaints about a city marshal truck in the MLK parade.

Reportedly the truck is filled with campaign workers for interim Marshal James Jefferson.

In addition, the city owned vehicle reportedly has an election campaign sign either attached to the truck and/or the truck is pulling the campaign sign.

Marshal Jefferson should review the guidelines on the Louisiana Ethics Administration website as they pertain to the use of government property and government person to conduct personal and campaign

activities.

Jefferson is an interim appointee who is seeking election to the marshal seat in March of this year.
