The facts do NOT support Green's comments.

The total payroll of the council clerk’s office is over $400,000. This is the approved payroll.
The total payroll of the commission clerk's office is $227,000.
The council clerk's office has coordinated less than 40 council meetings and council committee meetings as of yesterday.
The commission clerk's office has coordinated 76 meetings of the commission and commission committee meetings as of yesterday.
This is simple math.
How hard the employees of each clerk's office is directly related to the number of meetings of that respective body.
Reportedly, many of the council clerk employees rarely work more than 35 hours a week.
In the near future, efforts will be taken to monitor the comings and goings of the council clerk's employees at Government Plaza to determine how many hours they actually work.
