PLACE BETS ON THURSDAY’S CADDO COMMISSION MEETING

The circus is back in town. It arrived Monday afternoon at the Caddo Commission work session.

The circus is still in town.

The next circus performance, featuring none other than commission president Stormy Gage-Watts and commission parliamentarian Victor Thomas, will be tomorrow at the Commission’s regular meeting.

Word has it that Vegas oddsmakers are taking bets on what will or will not happen at tomorrow’s meeting. Reported the betting card has odds that:

1.      The Caddo Parish attorney or assistant attorney will attend the meeting

2.      The Caddo Parish attorney will make a ruling on the Parish reimbursing Commissioner Chris Kracmen’s legal fees at the meeting

3.      Gage-Watts will issue an apology for her antics at the work session

4.      Thomas will issue an apology for cutting off the microphone of Commissioner Grace Ann Blake

5.      Gage-Watts will yell at another Commissioner again

6.      Gage-Watts will threaten to remove a commissioner from the chambers again

7.      Thomas will cut off the microphone of another commissioner without permission/authority

8.      Law enforcement officials will arrest Thomas at the meeting for the crime of malfeasance in office.

Attendance is free. And if you do now want to witness the show in person, it can be streamed.

Bring your own popcorn.
