JUDGE SIMS SKIPS COURT AFTER SETTLE TALK COLUMN ON HER POSSIBLE SUSPENSION

Goodness, maybe Shreveport City Judge Sheva Sims read the column 'Judiciary Commission Recommends Shreveport Judge Sims be Suspended for a Year for a Year Without Pay.’

This column went out on Mail Chimp yesterday (Monday) morning at 9 a.m.

I received a call from a citizen who appeared this morning (Tuesday) in city court expecting Judge Sims to be on the bench. She was not present.

Judge Sims called in sick. Actually her secretary called in sick for her about NOON yesterday…some three hours after the column was published.

Hopefully Judge Sims will be back on the bench tomorrow. Since her problems have now been picked up by another media outlet, she may be sick tomorrow.

We all wish her a speedy recovery.
