Tim Euler City Council Announcement

Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. It’s hard to believe that just a week ago we publicly launched my campaign for City Council of District D. Since then, I’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude; for your encouragement, your faith, and your willingness to join me on this journey to build a better Shreveport.

I’m running because I love our city, not just as a place on a map, but as a community of people who deserve safety, opportunity, transparency, and fairness. As a husband, a father of three, a grandfather, and a professional, I’ve seen what happens when our water, roads, and infrastructure are neglected. I’ve seen the strain families face when public safety is uncertain or resources are stretched thin. I’ve also seen what’s possible when we come together with common purpose. That’s why I’m committed to:

  • strengthening public safety so our children want to remain here;

  • fixing our water system to ensure every family has clean, reliable water;

  • rebuilding roads and infrastructure so neighborhoods feel safe and connected;

  • bringing fiscal responsibility and transparency so your tax dollars are used wisely;

  • protecting taxpayers and working to bring more jobs to Shreveport so dreams don’t drift away.

This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about us. It’s about the hopes and frustrations of people who call District D home. It’s about giving every resident a seat at the table, a voice in decisions that affect their daily lives, and hope for a stronger tomorrow.

Over the coming weeks and months, I’ll be visiting neighborhoods, listening to the stories of families and business owners, and working with community leaders and groups to build something real, something lasting. I’d love for you to stay involved. If you’re willing, we would be honored to have you walk with us, talk with your neighbors, or simply share this message with anyone you think should know about our vision for Shreveport.

Thank you for believing in what we can build together.

Serving District D and all of Shreveport,
Tim Euler
