Goodness--maybe good things do come from Ft. Smith Arkansas.
I am referring to Shreveport's Economic Development Director Bill Sabo. He moved to Shreveport from Fort Smith last fall to assume this position in the Arceneaux administration.
Sabo, with the assistance of the city's IT Department and many others, has launched a very usable website designed to help persons start a business in Shreveport. It’s a comprehensive website divided into informative sections:
• Shreveport --At A Glance
• Start a Business in Shreveport with General Business/Retail, Restaurant, Food Truck
• Home-Based sections
• Incentives & Financing
• Permitting, Licensing, and Zoning
• Site Election, Real Estate, and Shared Office Space
Infrastructure
• Workforce and Talent
• Liquor License & ABO Cards
• Economic Development & Cultural Economy
• Community
• Contact Resources
The website is intended to be a "living platform" and Sabo wants input from the public for improvement and more development. He can be reached at Bill.Sabo@shreveportla.gov.
Readers should check out the website: https://www.shreveportla.gov/3511/Economic-Development-One-Stop-Shop --and refer others to do so as well.
