ANOTHER UNAUTHORIZED CADDO COMMISSION PROCLAMATION RESOLUTION

Seemingly so. But what else is news.

Check out the photo below.

The big cowboy hat adorns the head of none other than MAGA hater Roy Burrell, Caddo Commissioner, former state legislator and former Shreveport City Councilman.

It  appears that Cowboy Roy is reading a proclamation resolution on the stage of the Mane Event Car Show held at the Louisiana State Fair last Saturday. The Caddo Commission is listed as a sponsor in a social media post.

Burrell had this photo on his FB post but later removed it.

If this was in fact a Commission resolution it was just another unauthorized resolution. It was not voted on by the Commission before it was presented by Cowboy Roy. But this resolution is on the agenda for Thursday's Commission meeting.

It's a good bet that Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill will not be happy to learn of this presentation of another  unauthorized Commission resolution. Seemingly  the pending lawsuit against the Commission and the seven Democrat Commissioners which includes Burrell has not phased the Commission Democrats.

This new fact may derail if not substantially alter the rumored settlement talks with the AG.  The timing of the Mane Event resolution on the same agenda as the pickleball complex vote is certainly not ideal.
