HARD QUESTIONS THAT MAYORAL CANDIDATE GAGE-WATTS NEEDS TO ANSWER

Now that Stormy Gage-Watts is “officially” in the Shreveport mayor’s race and has a website seeking donations and volunteers, she should now expect to be asked hard questions about her qualifications and her candidacy. Of course, she is NOT officially in the race until she qualifies in late July of this year.

Here are questions that readers of the Settle Talk column “Gage-Watts Kicks Off Mayoral Campaign—Her is the Poop” have sent to this to the blog:

1.  When she is going to establish a residency in Shreveport—this is required to qualify

2.  Is political operative Lynn Braggs running her campaign

3.  Who are the members of her campaign committee

4.  Is Caddo Sheriff Whitehorn endorsing her campaign

5.  Is Shreveport businessman Roy Griggs endorsing her campaign

6.  Is Caddo commissioner John Paul Young endorsing her campaign

7.  Is Shreveport councilwoman Tabatha Taylor endorsing her campaign

8.  Is Senator Bernie Sanders endorsing her campaign

9.  What impact will the Attorney General’s lawsuit against her and six other commissioners have on her campaign

10.  Has she opened a campaign bank account, and if so, at what financial institution

11.  Where are her campaign headquarters presently.

12. Who has paid for the Hilton Hotel event, her campaign website and campaign push cards and other campaign materials

Stormy will soon learn that her free ride for publicity as the former chairwoman of the Caddo Commission has ended. The publicity on her announcement will be old news in a week. Additionally any serious media interviews will push past the campaign fluff and push for details.
