Caddo Sheriff Henry Whitehorn plans to spend $3.5 million for renovation/remodeling of the former Mitsubishi car dealership which he purchased in the Shreveport Auto Marll for $5.45 million in February of this year.
The Sheriff has hired a Baton Rouge consultant (LaFleur-Tillage, LLC) as a consultant to “provide project management services to assist with the revitalization of existing buildings purchased by CPSO for its New Headquarters.”
The consultant will be paid a consulting fee of 5.5% of the total project budget of $3.5 million for a fixed fee of $192,500.
The Sheriff will also pay for travel and out-of-pocket expenses for travel to and from Baton Rouge.
The agreement was effective February 9th, 2026, and expires December 9, 2026.
Monthly payments of $19,250 began last month (February.)
