BOSSIER ARTS COUNCIL HAS FUNDS TO MOVE OUT OF BOSSIER BUILDING

The Bossier Arts Council (BAC) was funded $80 thousand by the City of Bossier in January of this year.

The BAC board president advised the Bossier City Council at its meeting this week that the only expenditures of these funds were for BAC employees this year. He did not know the balance of this fund balance.

It is anticipated that the Bossier City Council will terminate the agreement with BAC at its next meeting on March 17 and require BAC to vacate the city building in the East Bank District by the end of this month.

The BAC board should be making plans for moving and storage of BAC furnishing. The Board has, or should have, ample funds for this project.
