John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

FRIENDS OF CADDO SHERIFF WHITEHORN SCEDULES FUNDRAISER

On April 22 the Friends of Henry L. Whitehorn, Sr. will host a Meet and Greet Reception/Fundraiser for Caddo Sheriff Whitehorn at Earnest’s Orleans Restaurant on Spring Street from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.
 
The invite advises that “Contributions appreciated but not required to attend.”
 
At the last campaign filing, Whitehorn had $63,000 in campaign funds.
 
One can expect many politicos, elected officials, candidates for the fall elections and Wanta bees at this gathering even though its is on the traditional “church night.”
