WILL CADDO PARISH ATTORNEY FRAZIER PROVIDE NAMES OF CMAR SELECTION COMMITTEE UTILIZED FOR WALTER B. JACOBS NATURE CENTER RENOVATION

The Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) is a project delivery method where a construction manager acts as a consultant during design and as the general contractor during construction guaranteeing a maximum price.

This process is touted as saving time and money for public entities.

CMAR was utilized for the renovation of the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center. The Parish utilized a Selection Revie Committee to pick the contractor.

Caddo Administrator Erica Bryant has advised the CMAR to be utilized for the $10 million pickleball complex.

A public records request was made to the Parish and Caddo Parish Attorney Donna Frazier to identify the Selection Committee utilized for the park renovation.

Hopefully these names will be provided without paying for the information.

Seemingly Parish should be pushing transparency with both upcoming pickleball and sports complex on the horizon.
