CADDO COMMISSION LOBBYIST IS POLITICING FOR PSC CANDIDATE JAMES GREEN

It's no secret that Markey Pierre and Shreveport City Councilman James Green are close friends.

Pierre is very prominent in Green’s church.

Green wants his council district's TIF to hire Pierre on a high dollar contract.

Currently Pierre works for Caddo Parish as a lobbyist, having been hired without the Caddo Commission's consent by Parish Administrator Erica Bryant.

Pierre recently appeared before a Legislative committee opposing two bills affecting the Caddo Bossier Port, claiming the Commission opposed the bills despite no action having been taken, much less discussed, by the Commission on those bills.

Bryant has been a Port Commissioner for 20 years.

Green is a candidate for the Public Service Commission.

Pierre has been making calls to get support for Green’s campaign.

No doubt she will continue her efforts to have Green elected while being paid with Parish dollars, and possibly with city tax  dollars.
