The Caddo Parish School Board levies a 1.5% sales tax on a school board July 1 to June 30 fiscal year. Its April tally of $10,365,775 is a 9.1% gain vs last year's $9,501,749. In 10 fiscal months, its deposits of $94,468,680 are 4.7% greater than last fiscal year's $90,269,331.
The Law Enforcement District of Caddo, the sheriff, imposes a 0.35% sales tax on a calendar year basis. In April it garnered $2,418,938, a 9.1% uptick from $2,217,461 a year ago. YTD it is also ahead of last year's sum, $8,992,542 vs $8,476,995, representing a 6.1% increase.
Bossier City-Parish uses a calendar fiscal year. It was down a bit for April, receiving $5,635,330, a 2.0% drop from $5,752,481 in 2025. Its YTD figure, $22,396,610, is 0.2% lower than $22,440,571 a year back.
The Bossier Parish School Board is on a July 1 to June 30 fiscal year. Its April revenue of $6,319,984 is 9.0% above the $5,798,086 last year. Its YTD $58,414,992 is 7.4% over the prior like period's $54,411,685.
