Michael R. LaFitte Candidate for Caddo Parish School Board, District 10

Dear Friends, Family, Community Leaders, and Supporters,

I am honored to officially announce my candidacy for the Caddo Parish School Board, District 10.

This campaign is about one thing: putting our children first. Our students deserve every opportunity to succeed, our teachers deserve the support and resources necessary to excel, and our families deserve leadership that is accessible, accountable, and committed to delivering results.

As a lifelong advocate for our community, I understand that strong schools are the foundation of a strong future. I believe every child, regardless of their background or zip code, deserves access to a quality education in a safe and supportive learning environment. Together, we can build a school system that prepares our students not only for graduation, but for success in college, careers, and life.

My priorities include:

  • Supporting and retaining exceptional teachers and staff

  • Promoting transparency and accountability in decision-making

  • Ensuring safe, secure, and welcoming schools

  • Strengthening academic achievement and student success

  • Building meaningful partnerships between schools, families, and the community

  • Advocating for responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars

District 10 deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and works collaboratively to address the challenges facing our schools. I am committed to being a strong voice for parents, educators, students, and community stakeholders while championing innovative solutions that move our district forward.

I humbly ask for your support, your prayers, and your vote as we work together to create a brighter future for the children of Caddo Parish. With your help, we can bring fresh ideas, strong leadership, and a renewed commitment to educational excellence.

Thank you for your confidence and support. I look forward to earning your trust and serving the families of District 10.

Together, let's build stronger schools, stronger families, and a stronger community.

Sincerely,

Michael R. LaFitte
