John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

Dinner Theater Comes to Shreveport

An unforgettable evening of entertainment is coming to Shreveport with "An Evening of Talent, Culture and Class," a dinner theater experience at the Greenwood Venue.

Produced by Victoria Gilliam and Louis Johnson and directed by Vincent Williams, the featured production, "The Dance on Widow's Row," promises an evening of captivating performances.

The event will showcase outstanding local talent, including Carla Heard, winner of the Caddo Rising Star Competition, and Jordan Hollins, who has performed on the national stage. Guests will also enjoy live music from acclaimed saxophonist Gabriel "The Sax Man" Johnson. Following the play, attendees are invited to stay for music and dancing.

The cast includes Mary Jones, Nevelyn Townsel, Sharon Penson, Willetta Davis, Courtland Thomas, Arlander Anderson, and Charles Montgomery.
