Goodness, a precedent has been set for Caddo elections.
Tim Euler was the only candidate who filed for the Shreveport City Council by the Friday August 7 deadline.
Amy Brainard was the only candidate who filed for Shreveport City Judge in her district.
Thus, Euler and Brainard were elected.
Both candidates had many campaign signs posted throughout their electoral districts.
Euler picked up all his signs last weekend.
Brainard signs were all picked up by yesterday (Wed.)
No doubt they both win the prize for “Fastest Political Sign Pickup” and rightly so.
Hopefully all the other candidates on the November 3 ballot will be diligent in removing their political signs and one doubts that any will be fast as Euler and Brainard.
Hats off to Tim and Amy for being responsible candidates and setting an example for other candidates.
