He is a political dinosaur, having served on the Caddo Police Jury/Commission for way, way too many years.
He is an angry old man, having been fired as the executive director of the Northwest Louisiana Veterans’ Cemetery.
He is an outsider as a commissioner, having been passed over for the Commission presidency this year.
And he needs to go to the house.
At the Caddo Commission regular meeting on Thursday August 20 Caddo Commissioner Ken Epperson was heard on a live mike chastising Commission vice president Victor Thomas repeatingly using the F-bomb.
His rant, which Epperson is notorious for, occurred during a brief recess in the meeting.
Thomas approached Epperson, who was sitting in his chair, and the live mike picked up Epperson’s comments but not those of Thomas.
The audio is not the best but here are the comments of Epperson:
“Look you gonna deal with my shit
I deal with y'all on a whole lot of stuff
and y'all come up with this bullshit fucking with me, ok
alright I’m talking about from now
If it wasn't for me, this place be like a fucking (inaudible) bomb
that’s all
we got a majority of 7 so I don’t know what y'all talking about.”
Epperson has been very unsuccessful in getting pet projects approved by the Commission.
Epperson is a disgrace to the Commission, and his constituents need to realize that he can no longer effectively represent them.
