Caddo District Judge Ramon Laffitte ruled in favor of the City of Shreveport in litigation challenging the Shreveport City Council's approval of the proposed southwest Shreveport data center.
The plaintiffs appealed Lafitte’s decision to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
The parties agreed to submit the case on the record, forgoing oral arguments.
Judges Shondra Stone, James “Jimbo” Stephens, and Jeff Robinson will decide the case.
A written decision is expected to be released on November 18, 2026.
