SHREVEPORT'S ENVIRONMENTAL COURT STARTS TUESDAY

The first session of Shreveport's long-awaited Environment Court will convene on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the chambers at Government Plaza.The case docket has five cases of inoperable vehicles on the premises.All these cases were initially cited on Nov. 26, 1999.

Caddo Commission president Lyndon Johnson has sponsored an ordinance to fund $75,000 to design and erect a memorial dedicated to the lives lost to the pandemic and the medical community that has combatted COVID-19.The Commission discussed the proposal at its Monday work session.
