On Monday (Sept. 21) Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith gave his monthly crime report on calls for service to the Shreveport City Council comparing year to date with Sept. 21, 2025. Here are the calls for service: 1. Felonies   Down 13% 2. Vehicle thefts   Down 14% 3.

THE CHICKEN DID NOT CROSS THE ROAD INTO BOSSIER CITY

The proposal ruffled a lot of feathers.Some said It was a fowl idea.It did not solve the question of which can first—the chicken or the egg.But it did rule out foxes in Bossier City chicken houses, at least the legal chicken houses.
