At a time when the Shreveport Police Department is concerned about large gatherings in areas with no permits, the SPD overlooked a major event in the Red River District.This past Friday the Huntington Alumni Association had a big party in the Red River District.

VAPE SHOP AND SPAR PERMIT ORDINANCES NEED TWEAKS

In September the Shreveport City Council enacted a comprehensive ordinance to regulate vape shops and vape shop employees. The ordinance applies to retailers who derive more than 25% of retail sales from vape products.As written, this standard is unenforceable.

DEFAMATION SUIT AGAINST CADDO COMMISSIONER KRACMAN DISMISSED

Caddo District Judge Ramon Lafitte has signed a Joint Motion to Dismiss With Prejudice in the litigation filed by James Silvio, Karim Merchant, Rajan Khadka, and Edgemont Holdings, LLC against Chris Kracman.The suit named Kracman individually versus in his capacity as a Caddo Commissioner.
