John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

AMAZON DATA CENTERS COMING TO CADDO AND BOSSIER PARISHES


Governor Landry is making this announcement at the press conference at Municipal Auditorium.

The Caddo data center will be located on a tract of land at the corner of  Blanchard Latex Road and  State Line Road.

The Bossier center will be located on a tract of land north of Benton corporate limits.

Each data center will be a six (6) BILLION dollar investment.

Each data center will generate 270 permanent jobs with a salary equal to or greater than 150% of the state-wide job salary.

The necessary permits have been issued for both centers.

Litigation is holding up permitting of a third Amazon data center in southwest Shreveport. This center would also be a six (6) BILLION dollar investment with 270 permanent jobs.
