John came to Shreveport in January of 1977 when he was transferred to Barksdale AFB.

He’s been active in Shreveport politics since deciding to make Shreveport his home.

John practiced law for 40 years and he now monitors local politics. He regularly attends Shreveport City Council and Caddo Parish Commission meetings.

John is published weekly in The Inquisitor, bi-monthly in The Forum News, and frequently in the Shreveport Times.

He enjoys addressing civic groups on local government issues and elections.

 

LIST OF LOCAL AMAZON GRANT RECIPIENTS

The Amazon Northwest Louisiana Community Foundation selected 46 local organizations and individuals who receive up to $10,000 to support wide range of community initiatives, including improving food access, expanding youth STEM education, workforce training, veteran services, domestic violence response and other local programs to strengthen the community. In total the grants were nearly $500,000.
 
This Amazon fund received a $100,000 contribution from STACK Infrastructure, Amazon’s data center development partner in Northwest Louisiana.
 
The amounts of each grant were not made public.
