PRESENTATION FOR CADDO SPORTS INDOOR SPORTS COMPLEX SET

Tomorrow (Thursday) a presentation on the development of the Caddo Parish Indoor Sports Complex, including preliminary site recommendations, will be made to the Commission’s Economic Development Committee at noon at the first floor conference room at Government Plaza.

MONROE OWNERS WANTS TO SELL SIX DOWNTOWN PROPERTIES

For years downtown advocates have complained about the Hakim properties in downtown Shreveport that have remained vacant with no renovation: the Slattery Building on Marshall,  the Johnson Building on Milam and the old Panos Diner building on Milam.

WHERE DID 13-YEAR-OLD GET GUN TO KILL HIS SISTER

The tragedy is virtually unspeakable. A 13-year-old boy killed his 14-year-old sister on Sunday. The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) press release reports that multiple people were in the north Shreveport home at the time of the shooting and they were interviewed.
